「nofollow」でブログのスパムは減少するか？

Google で rel="nofollow" の噂 : NDO::Weblogという記事がありました。

Google が HTML における anchor タグの rel="nofollow" 属性を解釈するような方向を模索しているという噂。

つまり、aタグに「rel="nofollow"」が入っている場合には、リンクとして数えない、ということが検討されているそうです。

ほとんど関係ない記事からトラックバックがきたり、コメントスパムがついたりするのは、一つにリンク数が稼げるから、という理由があります。

リンク数が稼げる=ページランクが上がる

ということですね。

しかし、それらが一般的なリンクと同一に見なされるのはやはり問題がある訳で、検索エンジンの結果にも影響を及ぼしていたはずです。

NDO::Weblogでは、

Blog がバックリンクを獲得するとき、その理想的なものは(トラックバックによるものではなく)サイトが引用されるなどして、その参照をあらわすために permalink にリンクされたときかなと思います。

と書かれていますが、まさにその通りですね。

さらに、nofollow!: blog.bulknews.netによれば、

Six Apart, Google, Yahoo! その他検索エンジンやBlog ソフトウェアベンダーから、a タグの rel="nofollow" の取り扱いに対する表明がでましたね（全部 Blog でというのがそれもまたすごい）。

ということで、下記のように表明されています。

I'm pleased to announce that Yahoo! Search is one of several organizations in support of a technique that should help combat weblog comment spam. Others involved are: Google/Blogger, MSN Search, Six Apart (TypePad, MovableType, LiveJournal), and WordPress.

全て無くすことは難しいでしょうが、これでかなりコメントスパム、トラックバックスパムが減ることが期待されます。

しかし、ただ単に見せることだけが目的のトラックバックは減らないかも知れませんね。
